Story Feelings

Story Feelings:

Get your little ones to share how they feel, when hearing Giseli’s story.

What you need:

OR

  • Story Poster (included in Nursery Kit, which you can order here)

Gather children into a circle and ask them how they show how they feel when they are happy or sad – this could be through simple expressions, such as smiling or frowning, or putting their thumbs up or down. Read Giseli’s story, asking children at different points to show how they feel about that part of the story and why.

For example, when Giseli tells us her Mum was ill and they didn’t have much money, the children could show a sad face, or put their thumbs down.

You could then explain how money raised through Sport Relief helped Giseli and her family have a happier life.
