Training Tips:
Energise your little ones with Sportacus’ Energy Corners!
What you need:
Turn 4 corners of the room into ‘Fruit Stations’; for example, strawberry, banana, apple and orange. Each fruit is connected to a movement:
Strawberry – jumping
Banana – hopping
Apple – wriggling
Orange - skipping
Call out the names of each ‘Fruit Station’ and the children have to travel to that station, using that particular movement.
Help Sportacus find his SportsCandy!
What you need:
Hide the SportsCandy (fruits) around the room. Give each child a bucket or basket and they have 5 minutes to collect all the fruits in the bucket.
Children can enjoy eating the fruit at the end!
Make your favourite Sportacus moves and get everyone to copy you in this fun game!
What you need:
Children choose their favourite Sportacus move or make up their own. Children can then take it in turns to make a movement that everyone has to copy. Or children could play in pairs, taking it in turns to mirror each other’s movements.
