Helium Balloons at the start to create 'theater'
Take extra safety pins, (you will need them!)
Put yourself in a 'Milers' position, do you know where to go?, where the toilets are?, where the registration point is?, and where is the start of the run going to be?, get some signs put up!
Those that register on the day need to know the cost!( another sign!)
You may have a First Aider on site, but does she have access to a First Aid kit?
