Event ideas

Make your Bike Week event a huge fundraising success! Here’s how…

Idea 1:

Ask your participants to make a donation to Sport Relief when they enter your event – you could even throw in a puncture repair or bicycle maintenance service as an incentive.

Idea 2:

If you’re asking your colleagues to cycle to work, get them to donate their saved travel fare or petrol money.

Idea 3:

Encourage all your entrants to get sponsored for taking part in your event by giving them a sponsorship form - which you can get hold of right here.

Idea 4:

Hold a Sport Relief raffle or auction to raise some extra money at your Bike Week event.

Idea 5:

Throw a post event party, quiz, barbeque or a family-friendly picnic to celebrate your success and charge an entry fee to raise money for Sport Relief.

Order a kit with sponsorship forms, banners, balloons and flags to get your participants raising tons of cash!

My best friend lives across the street from me. I've never spoken to him.

I stay at home a lot because my autism means I find it too hard to go to school or go out and make friends.

Your cash is letting me come to a special project where I can play football and feel like part of a team.
